I’m no math genius, but it seems to me that multiplying bowl length by width by soup depth adds up to about the same as four cans of Campbell’s. Goldilocks (1606 West Broadway) is the source of this gargantuan single serving of mami. The traditional Filipino soup combines oodles of thin egg noodles in a savoury broth (love those little fat puddles on the surface) with hard-boiled egg, cabbage, carrot, green onion (still with some crunch), and chicken. Five bucks, or $5.25 if you upgrade to the siomai version bobbing with shrimp-and-pork dumplings the size of a toddler’s fist. Call yourself a hero if you can finish a bowl on your own.
